Sri Sri Veeramaa Kali Temple History
Located in Rangamura, Melaghar, within the Sepahijala District of Tripura, the Sri Sri Veeramaa Kali Temple is one of the most revered spiritual landmarks in the state of Tripura, India.
The temple was founded by Shri Thirumeni Veeramani, a visionary spiritual leader from Tamil Nadu, who first arrived in Tripura as part of the Seismic Retrofitting project of Neermahal — the iconic water palace nestled in the heart of Rudrasagar Lake.
Guided by profound spiritual intuition and divine calling, Shri Veeramani was drawn to this sacred land, where he later laid the foundation of the temple in devotion to Maa Veeramaa Kali. His vision and devotion transformed the place into a spiritual sanctuary for devotees seeking blessings, protection, and inner peace.

The Supreme Form of Sri Veeramaa Kali
Sri Veeramaa Kali is a divine union of Durga, Lakshmi, Saraswati, and Kali — the Ashtadasa Bhuja Mahalakshmi Durga Saraswathi Kali. She represents the ultimate, unmanifest reality (Paramā), as praised in sacred texts like the Kali Sahasranamam.
She embodies the Nine forms of Durga, Eight forms of Lakshmi, Seven forms of Matha, and Eight forms of Kali — representing the entire thirty-two divine forms, from Balatripurasundari to Chandi.
Kali’s sacred role is to remove what no longer serves the soul, clearing space for transformation. Her cosmic dance with Shiva maintains the universe's balance: Shiva is the Vacuum, and Kali is the friction within the Vacuum.
As described in the Lalitha Sahasranamam: "Dhashakuiena Kothbande Narayanya Dhashakerthehe" — meaning the entire Dashavatara of Mahavishnu emerged from the nail tips of Mahalakshmi. In this light, Sri Veeramaa Kali is the source of all manifestation — the divine expression of the ultimate source: the sacred Null, the Vacuum, the Infinite Mother.

Founder of the Temple Shri Thirumeni Veeramani
Born on November 16, 1980 (1st day of Tamil Karthikai Masam) in Karaikudi, Sivagangai District, Tamil Nadu, Shri T. Veeramani is the blessed son of Mother Sri Agilandeswari and Father Thirumeni.
From an early age, he displayed rare spiritual sensitivity. At just 12 years old, he experienced a profound divine trance of Maa Kali, which awakened a deep inner calling and marked the beginning of his journey on the spiritual path.
In the year 2000, Shri Veeramani received Diksha from Shri Vethathiri Maharishi, further deepening his commitment to spiritual growth and service. In 2008, he married Sri Ramya, his devoted life partner and supporter in his mission.
Blessed with extraordinary intuition and divine foresight, his predictions and spiritual remedies—especially during Amavasya (new moon days)—have provided profound relief, healing, and clarity to countless devotees. Many have reported transformative outcomes within weeks of seeking his guidance.
Shri Veeramani continues to lead guided meditation sessions, spiritual discourses, and energy-healing practices as needed, drawing seekers from across regions who are inspired by his grounded wisdom and spiritual presence.
Sri Sri Veerammakali Temple
– A Divine Manifestation
The Sri Sri Veerammakali Temple was founded by T. Veeramani of Tamil Nadu, who received divine instructions in a dream to establish the temple using sacred soil from ancient Kali temples in Sivaganga. The idol of Maa Veerammakali was crafted by artist K. Kumar and brought to Neermahal, Tripura, where it was sanctified through rituals under paddy, water, sacred trees, and sandalwood.
The temple’s consecration began in July 2015 with Vedic ceremonies, Ganesh Puja, Mahayagna, and a sacred city procession. Water from 108 holy shrines, including Kashi, Rameswaram, and Tripureswari, was used for the Maha Kumbhabhishek. It rained during each idol installation, believed to be divine signs of Maa’s blessings.
Today, this temple is a center of spiritual power, known for miraculous stories and healing energies—especially for women seeking divine blessings and fulfillment.
